Teaching 7th graders the basics of photography composition and technique through the Dear Future Me project.

I was born and raised in the Detroit Metro Area of Michigan. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in Photography and a Bachelor of Arts focusing in Lighting Design for Theatre Production from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida in 2015. Before graduating, I discovered my love of Art Education after interning at the Lowe Art Museum as an Art Education Intern. After receiving my degree, I worked as an Art Education Intern and Museum Educator with the Bass Museum of Art and Vizcaya Museum & Gardens where I worked with students from 2nd to 12th grade.

In the summer of 2016, I began attending Tufts University in affiliation with the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston to receive a Masters of Arts in Teaching specializing in Art Education graduating with my degree in May 2017. During this time, I taught high school studio courses and worked at a middle school.

Currently, I live in Chicago and teach at a middle school in a small area right outside of the city. For more information, please refer to my resume.
